Wyleni Elf Ethnicity in Llenaria | World Anvil

Wyleni Elf

It is said that Wyleni Elves are the elves in which Niefl originated. They were the master of elements, particularly difficult types such as fire/ice, magma, light, lightning, and darkness.

Wyleni elves typically are known for their dazzling eye colors and slightly pointed ears. They are usually petite in height (approximately 130cm to 160cm) and have delicate features. Like most humanoids, they do vary in shapes and sizes, and on rare occasions they can be taller than 160cm.

These elves are descended from the Fey, and were from the Realm of Eternal Autumn, or Yngrydd. They love dawn and dusk, and of course typically favor autumn as their favorite season. Although individuals may vary, as with any race.

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

The major language of the Wyleni is Blědh, followed by Rhidian by force, and Ástelan (Loosely Spanish). Dialects vary by region, spread throughout Llenaria. Unfortunately, there is no one region where Wyleni live, as they were forced to flee the Rhidians, especially those with Niefl ties. Some have taken on a Makthari dialect, some have taken on a Tachibanan dialect. There are as many dialects as there are Wyleni.

Ideals

Gender Ideals

Gender is not known to fae or elves in general, and Wyleni are no different. They instead present as they do. No men, no women, no forced gender. They can just be. Winter is a prime example of this, despite their heavy human heritage. Sure, they can all have the genitals required for reproduction, but it's not gendered like it is in human culture. Same goes for all the elven races, really.

Relationship Ideals

Typically favor having multiple partners, the most common relationships are the triads and quads.
