Astrid Province

One of the 6 main provinces in Shirdal. Astrid province is typically run not by the King but by either one of the siblings of the King or the Crown Prince if he is of age. When one of those people are unable to run the province, the King appoints someone to run the province instead.
Astrid province is known for having the capital of Shirdal and the Golden Academy within its borders. The Golden Griffins also have their Headquarters within the borders of Astrid in the city of Crane. It's also where Shirdal's National Maximum Security Prison is located just outside the city of Crane.
