Summary of Play
The goal of Teagmhail is to get the ball to pass through the opposing team's gate. Each team has a gate. Each team also has 4 Strikers, 4 Blockers, and 1 Gatekeeper.
To move the ball, a Striker must manipulate it using only magic. They can attempt to launch the ball from any point in the field to get it through the opposing team's gate. Each Gatekeeper must use magic of their own to manipulate the ball away from their Gate.
Blockers may not touch the ball. Using only their physical abilities, they attack the Strikers using staves. They may not attack a Striker's face.
Referees are on the field to maintain the integrity of the players, the rules, and to administer healing magic if needed.
