Treaty of Obedience

Signed by King Tybolt at the end of the Gryerlth civil war, this document established which races would be considered slaves in Gryerlth from that point on. The document was a means of rewarding those who sided with King Tybolt at the start of the civil war by giving them full freedoms, while only slightly punishing those who fought against him only for a brief period of time. The races that fought until the bitter end found themselves becoming completely enslaved. The document is still used to this day to enslave the races of Gryerlth, however anyone who is considered a problem is now also enslaved under a statement in the document of "obedience to Segomo and to Gryerlth must be observed."

Treaty of Obedience

In accordance with his Royal Highness King Tybolt Tannick, from this day forth a new law shall be established in all of Gryerlth. In order for Gryerlth to be strong, obedience to Segomo and to Gryerlth must be observed. In accordance with this stance it has been so ordered that from this day, 30 Cluems 1202, all the following races will be allowed to rule themselves in small clans and tribes so long as they send forth a designated number of military recruits annually. These recruits will serve for a minimum of 5 years before being sent back to their families, unless they so wish to continue to serve under his Lord, the great and powerful Segomo. The following races will also no longer be allowed to own any land or businesses in any of the major cities, towns, or villages, however they may sell their wares to business owners as they see fit. King Tybolt has declared these races to be the Dwarves, Gnomes, Aasimar, Goliaths, Kalashtar, and Genasi. 
For all other races outside of Humans, anyone of Elvish heritage, Halflings, and anyone listed above, King Tybolt has declared them all unworthy and untrusting and branded them all slaves. All unworthy races will live and work in their designated slave camps from this day forth, and will serve in slave units in the military. They cannot be promoted in the military except under extraordinary circumstances, and only a pardon from the King himself will allow them to end their life has a slave.
