By 1972, the Bullseye Pool Hall had passed into the hands of a stately woman by the name of Rani. Rani fostered the hall's occult underground, holding spell swaps twice a month by closing the hall for a "private event." When Lilja came in, Rani took one look at her and said, "You're safe here. You always will be."
