3rd-rank - Conjuration Priest Spell: Animals Spirit
You either summon spirits that assume the forms of beasts (Spirit Domain), or call existing beasts to your aid (Animals Domain). If you are summoning a spirits (Spirit Domain), your offering is consumed in your hand as they appear in a circles of light in unoccupied spaces within range, taking on a form that you choose (see below). If you are summoning existing beasts (Animals Domain), the GM determines whether suitable creatures are within a 1 mile radius. They appear at the start of the next combat round and consume your offered food before accepting your commands. Choose one of the following options for what appears:
- One beast of challenge rating 2 or lower
- Two beasts of challenge rating 1 or lower
- Four beasts of challenge rating 1/2 or lower
- Eight beasts of challenge rating 1/4 or lower
At higher ranks: When you cast this spell as spells of higher rank, you choose a new option below, or one of the summoning options above and more creatures appear:
- Cast as a 5th-rank spell: summon one beast of CR 4 or twice as many appear of above options;
- Cast as a 7th-rank spell: summon one beast of CR 6, two beasts of CR 4, or three times as many appear of above options;
- Cast as a 9th-rank spell: summon one beast of CR 8, two beasts of CR 6, three beasts of CR 4, or four times as many appear of above options.
