Lady Ana Ruhsk
Lady Ruhsk (ROO-sk) is a member of the Swan Knights of Naryne, and has been assigned to watch over the second born child of the Galanis family, Tessa Principissa. She has been with the family for almost ten years now, and acts as a personal bodyguard to the princess.

Personal history
Ana Ruhsk is a human, is the second-born of Zalna Ducissa of Praesens-Vicus, and was trained by the seneschals of Naryne from a very young age in the ways of a Narynite. She became a swan knight at the age of 23, upon which time she was sent out to discover her charge.
She travelled to the city of Paramenthia, home of her king and queen, and was introduced to their children: seven year old Liam Prorex, six year old Tessa Principissa, and the infant Dani Principissa.
Even at age seven, Tessa was a precocious child. Ana was at first unsure of her calling to the child. But she decided to stay at Chromalour for an evening and spend it prayer and meditation to her goddess.
Whilst there, she had a dream of a swan, coming to rest on the lakes of Chromalour's gardens. Taking it as a sign of Naryne's will, Ana has stayed on as the protectorate of Tessa for almost a decade, training and protecting her to the best of her ability.

Religious Views
Ana is a stringent follower of the doctrine of the Dark Church, which is somewhat a problem as the Galanis family came into power recently, and were not one of the 100 blessed with a crown and the right of rulership from Naryne. This means in the minds of many Narynites that the Galanis family line is not one that was chosen by Naryne and that the throne was stolen from the rightful heirs.
While she does not let her discontent shake her from her duty, she is clearly bothered by the usupers of the throne of Aduras (not that there was much of one when Eirene Regina came into power).
