Damask Apple

Addi just loves these apples. She buys them by the dozen. We can only let her have one candied apple a month or we'll never get her off the shelves.

This apple is of the sweet variety and closely related to the common red apple. The thing that makes this apple unique is the fact that it seems as if it is gilded in gold, with tendrils and swirls around the apple. The golden parts of this apple are often mistaken for real gold. The golden parts are not real gold and are instead a part of the apple itself. This apple is commonly used for candy apples or caramel apples due to its intriguing colours and shapes associated with it.
