Fuzz Spike

Again, another unpleasant experience with a plant. Highly do not recommend.

There is a hidden spike in this plant. This is your warning about it. The spike itself is concealed by a very thread-like colourful fluff that can be turned into thread for sewing. A single prick on the finger from this spike will cause that part of your body to swell, turn blue and will cause extreme pain for a period of time (Usually about 1-5 days). The plant itself is very bright and whimsical, it's very deceptive. Again, this plant is dangerous and should be avoided. However, the thread you can make from the tufts of fluff is often equated to silk.
