Mejorav

The Mejorav are a race of hybrids between Humans and Elves, created during the Mejorav Project with the intention of discovering if humans could conceive elves capable of love. The result was better than expected, as the Mejorav are indeed capable of love, though not with the same intensity as humans.

Physically, the Mejorav inherited the beauty of the elves but the size of humans. Their ears are slightly more pointed than those of humans, but nowhere near as large as those of the elves. Additionally, this hybrid race is capable of manipulating Ether like any other Mage, but to the surprise of the Elves, they are unable to generate Mana simultaneously, something elves can do. Interestingly, all Mejorav are born as Mages, which is quite unusual for humans.

During the experiments, it was confirmed that it was more dangerous for a human woman to become pregnant by an elf than vice versa, where there was no risk in childbirth. When human women were the mothers, if they were unable to produce Mana on their own, they or their children would die before birth. Regarding longevity, the Mejorav age, although much better than humans, and manage to live about 200 years on average, with rare exceptions. Most notably, their aging is barely noticeable.
