Prologue 2: The Lost Sage
You awake to find that Demetrius has summoned you to meet with him.
Demetrius
You have helped me greatly, and as such I'd like to help you. The collars I have removed from your necks symbolize a temporary internment to your master, and it was within my power to remove such a burden. However, I am not able to remove the scars that mark you as a permanent slave in this society. With that scar, life will be very difficult for you. The good news is, I believe I know who can remove such a foul mark from you. However, it will be a perilous journey, and it will be a costly one. You must venture west, to Blightmoor. In this swamp is an abandoned fort, where you will find a mysterious and eccentric wizard named Fozuli with you. He's been such a great help since you've arrived.
- Cost: I don't know what he will ask of you, but I do know it won't be inexpensive. Be prepared to pay some heavy coin, or perform a task for him.
- Legal: It is very illegal to remove the magical brand, hence is location out in the middle of nowhere.
- Other slaves: I have sent others out on this journey, and some have been successful. Seek out Groth if you'd like to hear about his experience with him
