Giant speakers campus
You creakily climb down the spiral staircase, ready to head down to your next classes. The new students are arriving today, so now you have to deal with all of the newbies. They're always a pain to deal with, but sometimes there are some good ones in there. You head out into the fresh air. You walk along the scenic campus, leaning slightly forward on your cane. You slam the large, ornate wooden doors to the lecture hall open. There are ten students in the hall, seated in a semicircle around a podium. You hobble up to the podium, and begin the lecture by introducing yourself in Giant.
Purpose / Function
This is a standard college campus, owned by the giant speakers of fortune. It is used as a campus to learn usual college subjects such as math, international relations, agriculture, and literature. As well as this, it is also where people go to learn to speak giant. They come here to join the giant speakers, but they first have to finish schooling. They have to reach easy conversational fluency in giant before they can even qualify to join. They can come here free of charge, but those who come here are selected by the head speakers themselves.
Alterations
It has not really been altered since it was built. It has, however, been expanded. Since it was built in 122 AL, many things have been added. The original building was a 50ft diameter domed lecture hall. It now encompasses four square miles of campus. There have now been many new buildings added, including the largest library on that flower. Other buildings include multiple lecture halls, quite a lot of dormitories, and many teachers quarters.
Architecture
This is done in quite an old style. The original lecture hall is made from old wood of trees from all parts of the world. It is intricately carved with various patterns made from all varieties of wood. Things get more and more modern as it gets further out. They all have in common that they are made of wood. This is uncommon in the Fortune Lands, as they are typically made of huge leaves and various other plants.
History
It was originally constructed in 122 AL to allow for new giant speakers to be created as older ones began to die. It gained popularity as the giant speakers grew. The massive campus gained more and more buildings as they were necessary. By 692 AL, it was the biggest college in the Fortune Lands.
