Castle Army
The Castle Army in LuaLunia is an essential aspect of the kingdom's defense and security. It is composed of Lunia foxes who are trained to be skilled soldiers capable of defending the royal family and the citizens of the kingdoms. The Castle Army is responsible for maintaining law and order in the kingdom by conducting regular patrols and check-ins in different zones on behalf of the royal family. The army operates from within Castle Square, which is at the center of LuaLunia, where the king, queen, children, and the rest of the royal family reside.
Right-hand - After completing their training, soldiers are promoted to the right-hand rank, where they begin to take on more responsibilities, such as leading small groups of soldiers and serving as assistants to higher-ranking officers.
Warrior - The warrior rank is the next step up and is reserved for soldiers who have proven themselves in battle and possess advanced combat and magical skills. Risking their lives, commanding platoons of other Lunia, and taking the next step in leadership promotes the warrior in a ritual where they get a marking on the side of their right ear to showcase their dedication.
Lead - Leads are senior officers within the army and are responsible for leading larger groups of soldiers and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the army.
Commander - Commanders are the highest-ranking officers within the Castle Army, responsible for overseeing all operations and making important strategic decisions. They are directly promoted from leads and have another marking branded on the left side of their ear to showcase their dedication to the role.
Gems
The Castle Army's Lunia foxes possess an off-white gem that can be placed at specific locations on their body, enhancing their magical abilities as well as giving them direct mind connecting magic to the royal family. The gem is a symbol of their status within the army and grants them additional power to directly protect their kingdom on top of the mind connection, though for each fox it is different based on their experiences.Army Ranking System
