Viu'Hasta
The living spear of Modesa
This spear was magnificient and one of the most reknown personal artefacts of our nation. Modesa was a considerate mask, formidable leader and Conrus. Her main subject were military concerns, but due to her peaceful basis, various skills and numerous efforts for our nation she was deeply appreciated, people were always happy to meet her.
A particularly interesting habit of her was the forging of her own weapons, like in other disciplines she reached high levels of skill without needing to devote her whole life to it. When she had a vision she was able to just form it into reality. This also happened when she made her masterpiece Viu'Hasta. For a week she locked herself into her laboratories and smithy, only calling for consultation from the most excellent craftsmen. Various high quality materials were prepared and tested. In the end she appeared with this spear. It felt like this piece was a part of her, she being even more complete and perfect than before.
In it's usual appearance it had a thin, conic and elongated tip for about 20cm, then the shape flattened to evolve a blade on one side and barbed hooks on the other having a length of about 100cm being hollow in the end where the elongated grip of 40cm was fixed. It looked like a heavy weapon, but in her hands it just seemed to do what is needed, she also wielded it one handedly. With this mix it was a cruel weapon in every situation. This is also supported by the fact that the weapon, thus his naming, was able to transform into shapes and length suited for the situation. In before Modesa was already an astonishing fighter, but with this weapon in her hands she made unbelievable things, slashing and thrusting effordlessly through rows of beasts.
Sadly Modesa and Viu'hasta were lost one day. Leading an expidition into The Wilderness they were pressured viciously by the beasts, Modesa backed up their retreat, when a beast was able to rip the weapon out of her hand, tossing it down a deep cliff into the caverns. With large losses they came back, but Modesa was not the same anymore. It was like a part of her was ripped away and lost. She called for another Conrus to take over the lead of Limem. When he arrived she didn't go back to Lucem like intended, but vanished the next night, probably to search for her lost part singlehandedly.
A corpse was never found. It is said that whoever finds Viu'Hasta will not only bring back Modesa's bright soul to Lucem Edi, but also be blessed by her skill and mentality, but that the beasts keep her and Viu'Hasta locked in torture to avenge the countless beasts she executed.
