Burrowing Silraken

Unlike other Silraken, the Burrowing Silraken don't value their physical form but rather chose to focus on their mind. Often found in burrows on the Elemental Plane of Sand or in the massive libraries of Arcadum, Burrowing Silraken value knowledge above else. The Arcane is also placed in high regard and many pursue the power that magics can give. Upon reaching adulthood, most Burrowing Silraken will spend time curating their civilizations' libraries and storehouses, occasionally making trips to find new knowledge and eventually bring it back to their burrows. They document information and are the keepers of the Golden Archive in the Mistral Reach, documenting all knowledge and protecting it with their lives.

Features

Ability Score Increase: Your intelligence score increases by 2.
Size: Your size is Small.
Wings: Your flying speed is 20 feet.
Knowledge is Magic: You have proficiency in either the History or Arcana skills.
Magic is Power: Once reaching 2nd-level, you learn one Cantrip of your choice from the Wizard Spell List. Additionally, upon reaching 5th-level you learn to cast the Absorb Elements spell and can cast it without a spell slot using this ability at the 2nd-level. When you cast it this way once per day and regain uses after finishing a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting modifier for these spell.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Arcanium.
