Primordial
Primordials come from the
Elemental Planes of Chaos, created by the Titans that once lived on the
Material Plane, but after a nearly endless war with the Gods, receded into a plane of their own creation. As the Gods created other races in their image, the Titans created Primordials; some directly and others indirectly. The
Gensai were created as free willing followers whom embody the Titan's themselves, both their elemental chaos and their violent emotions. Other races created by the Titans were made by the planes themselves and the elemental magics that flow through them. Primordials were created in the
Elemental Planes of Chaos, but can now be found across many different planes, from protecting portals to their native plane to populated cities on every other plane. Primordials usually are seen as rare or a sight to behold in the
Material plane, much as a
Humankind would be in the
Elemental Planes of Chaos.
Races
Once a strong, but radically acting civilization of
Dwarves, the Azer were formed through the intervention of a strong warlock, whom in moment of great danger, wished for their city to be saved. The city saved from danger was moved to the
Elemental Plane of Fire, where it overtime became the city known as the
City of Brass. These primordials are hot headed, stubborn, and are known for their high constitutions. They have chosen not to embrace the elements, but use them to weed out the weak and upgrade their physical forms.
Strong, resilient, and reclusive, these Primordials were formed through the constant pressures of the
Elemental Plane of Earth. Supposedly created as the land itself gained sentience, Bisult were supposedly formed from the fossilized shards of Titans in their defense from the encroaching Gods.
These Primordials were formed by the
Lesser Titans in the
Elemental Planes of Chaos. Shaped by the planes themselves, they reflect the elements that make up the realm and lead with their emotions, which can reflect their chaotic upbringing.
Gensai take on the elements of their native plane, whether its one of the major or minor elemental planes.
The Queshin were created by the molten tears of the
Greater Titan Ra'khasii. These primordials are fierce protectors and great smiths. Queshin are fiery, salamander-like creatures that have long flaming tails and short stubby legs. They are native to multiple planes but most are found in the
Elemental Plane of Fire or
Elemental Plane of Magma.
Sequestered to mountain peaks, tall trees, floating islands, and swirling cities, these Primordials are sometimes referred to as bird-folk. Wherever they travel they evoke wonder and awe. Formed by the natural inhabitants that were corrupted, after their departure from the Material plane, they have grown to be found across the
Elemental Planes of Chaos and many rural, elevated areas in the
Material Plane.
Long established guardians of the
Elemental Plane of Water, these Primordials grew from the plant-life of the plane's deep oceans that once made up ancient lairs of
Aberrations, who hid in the plane from those that hunted them. Continually growing in intelligence, they have grown to act as guardians of the deep ocean against the return of any
Aberrations. In recent years, they have become increasingly active in the the surface worlds of both the
Material Plane, as well as the
Elemental Planes of Chaos.
