Fathom Tritons
Long standing civilizations upon the ocean floors where very little light can reach is the environment that the Fathom Tritons have grown to call their ancestral home. These traditional Tritons believe in the importance of structure and hierarchy; reflecting such in their rigid, lawful society. Their ruling classes being patriarchal monarchies that have rich histories and varied, but complex bloodlines. These Tritons have dug into the very edges of the
Elemental Plane of Water itself, and the seemingly never ending oceans of all the planes. Fathom Tritons act as Guardians of the depths against any enemies, but stay vigilant for the inevitable return of
Aberrations that once ruled these extreme environments. Their physical features tend to match their environment, with large visible gills and sometimes longer phosphorescent appendages. Their webbed features, lack of large fins, and long hands or feet allow them to be adaptable to walking and swimming.

Ability Score Increase: Your Strength score increases by 1.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 35 feet, and you have a swimming speed of 25 feet.
Ocean Churned: A child of the deep ocean, you can call on the magic of elemental water. You can cast the
Dancing Lights Cantrip with this trait. Starting at 5th-level, you can cast the
Wall of Water spell at the 3rd-level with this trait. Once you cast this spell using this trait, you can't cast the same spell again until you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability with these spells.
Guardians of the Depths. Adapted to even the most extreme ocean depths, you have resistance to ice damage.
