Kobold

Kobold

Kobolds were created by dragons as servants, to do tasks that were undesirable or base to their cause. Born into the world as natural cowards, this trait has followed them throughout their days and their fear of dragons exists to this day. As expendable followers of dragons, some Kobolds throughout time have been able to sneak away, hiding underground to where the dragons could not find them. Now dozens of Kobold tribes exist and live underground, usually not staying in on place for longer than a few years. They are often known for their survival skills more than there intelligence. However, their greed and weak form means that they don't live long when venturing away from their tribes. They have powerful jaws for creatures of their size and noticeable claws on their hands and feet. Some tribes of Kobolds are known for holding candles upon their heads to light their way through underground tunnels. All Kobolds have chromatic scales, although it doesn't provide them with the benefits given to their Half-Dragon kin. Kobolds are usually flighty, cowardly, and quick allies.
