Lycan
Lycan
Originally Born Race: Lycan are almost always born to parents of one type of Humanoids or Littlefolk. Choose a Humanoids or Littlefolk. This is referred to as you originally born race (OBR). It will be important to creating your character.Features
Size: Your size is Medium or Small, depending on your OBR. Speed: Your walking speed is 35 feet, regardless of you OBR. Bloodlust: If you begin your turn with no more than half of your maximum hit points, you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or move directly towards the nearest creature to you and use your action to Attack against that creature. The DC is equal to 8 or a quarter of the damage you took in the previous round, whichever is higher. You can choose whether or not to use any Extra Attacks feature for this frenzied attack. If there is more than one possible target, roll to randomly determine the target. Once you make a successful attack, you then regain control for the remainder of your turn. If you are under an effect that prevents you from concentrating (like the barbarian’s Rage feature), you automatically fail this saving throw. Darkvision: You can see in Dim Light within 60 feet of you as if it were Bright Light, and in Darkness as if it were Dim Light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Full Moon: During each long rest roll a 1d00. On a roll of 1, 2, or 3 you lose control and enter into your shifted form, but are unable to control your form. The DM controls your character until the long rest ends, upon which you revert to your unshifted Lycan form. When you revert gain one point of Exhaustion. Keen Senses: You have advantage on all Perception skill checks that rely on hearing or smell. Shifting: As a bonus action, you can assume a more bestial appearance. This transformation lasts for 1 hour, until you die, or until you revert to your normal appearance as a bonus action. When you shift, you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to your level + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). You also gain benefits that depend on your were sub-race. Once you shift, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest. Languages: You can read, speak, and write the languages of your OBR.Sub-Races
