Gensai

Gensai

These Primordials were formed by the Lesser Titans in the Elemental Planes of Chaos. Shaped by the planes themselves, they reflect the elements that make up the realm and lead with their emotions, which reflect their chaotic upbringing. Gensai generally live, in the Elemental Planes, in societies ranging from nomadic clans to structured cities with thousands of denizens. They can sometimes be found on the material planes in small clans, protecting planar portals that lead to their plane of creation. These Primordials can still be found, although rare, on any large cities in any of the civilized planes.

Sub-Races

Flame Gensai

The Flame Gensai call the Elemental Plane of Fire their home. Many live in the sprawling City of Brass, but some can be found on Metal Crawlers in the Sea of Fire or Fountains of Creation. These Gensai tends towards volatile moods, impatience, and quick judgement. However, they also make feverishly hot allies and leave strong impressions. Flame Gensai tend to look human-like with fiery hair and red or orange skin. Their presence is usually accompanied by the faint scent of brimstone.

Ocean Gensai

The Ocean Gensai live in the Elemental Plane of Water on islands in the Sea of Worlds and in the underwater metropolises near the Isle of Dread. These Gensai hear the call of the ever moving world around them, looking to wander freely and taking pride in their independence. Ocean Gensai tend to look as though they always just bathed, with blue or green skin and other features that represent the changing tides of the plane they call home.

Stone Gensai

The Stone Gensai live in the Elemental Plane of Earth, from nomadic tribes of the mud hills to the longest existing City of Jewels. These Gensai have inherited the strength and solidity of the earth. They tend to be stalwart and stubborn with deep earthy toned skin and eyes. Their features are as variable as the earth itself making them all different from the next.

Wind Gensai

The Wind Gensai are native to the Elemental Plane of Air, from the floating cities of Aaqa to the swirling shacks of the Sirocco Straits. These Gensai are as changing as the weather and can have quick shifts in mood. Human-like in appearance they usually have white or blue-hued skin, hair, and eyes. There voices are sometimes marked by a faint echo.

Chaos Gensai

The Chaos Gensai don't call a single Elemental Plane their home and their features and attitude show that. These Gensai either travel through the planes adapting as they go or they come from the harshest places of the planes themselves; where the planes meet and chaos of elemental magics is at its peak. Fitting into no singular sub-race of Gensai, they wield properties from two of the other four Gensai types above and combine their qualities, gaining some additional benefits, but not all the attributes of both planes that shape them.
