Victor's Feast
Since its origin as a method of sparring and training the bond between Lukkein and their human masters, the practice of Lukkein Duelling has become increasingly important to the culture of the human settlers of Mundda. In some circles, youths are expected to begin duelling almost as soon as they are old enough to receive a Dominion Band at age 19, and winning their first formal duel is considered more important than the day they reach the age of majority. For these lucky beginners, the most common means of celebration is to be treated to what has become known as a Victor's Feast. Due to the relative newness of the practice, there is no single codification of how a Victor's Feast is to be held, or even what the food itself should be. Three distinct lines of tradition have began to emerge, based loosely around their point of origin. These are the feast traditions of the capital of St Llewelyn, the cultural heart of St Amélie, and the rural ways of St Nesta and its surroundings. Ultimately, the decision is up to the individual preferences of the individual celebrating their victory.
St Llewelyn Tradition
Originating with the aristocrats of St Llewelyn's Upper Terraces, [todo](Focused on "fine dining") There is another tradition originating in the area surrounding St Llewelyn's beachfront district, also confusingly called the St Llewelyn tradition. [todo](Focused on beach-front barbeques)
St Amélie Tradition
[todo](Focused on "exotic" foods from the bazaar)
St Nesta Tradition
Originating among the rural communities of St Nesta and its surrounding villages and farmsteads, [todo](Focused on "rustic" foods grown locally)
Many fast food restaurants in St Maldwyn and elsewhere advertise themselves as selling an "authentic" Victor's Feast. Whether or not this is actually true is open to debate and is the subject of several pending lawsuits.
