Hrefna Haldorsdottir

Hrefna is a foster of Rurik Halfdansson. She came from the Rover homeland, Birma, as a child, and has lived with her uncle since. She has become an amber merchant, but is also learned about a variety of stones.
Hrefna is a raven shapeshifters - hence her placement as a ward of Rurik's family. Her father's location is unknown. As a raven she unfortunately has a tendency towards trying to pocket some gems for herself.
Hrefna was looking to take charge and deal with her uncle's affairs while he was away at war, but the sudden attack on Anastasiya Sviatoslavovna and Oleg  has changed everything. Hrefna partipated in killing Mikhailo, who inexplicably attacked the child, and also in trying to save Anastasiya. Now she wonders what exactly Zayats had to do with allowing the murderous bear to gain entry.
