Strelok Lodge rangers
The lodge of strelok Storozhi located about 400 versts to the northeast of Krinets. Its main function is to protect scattered Norik settlements in the far north and to facilitate the fur trade and other relations with Kuz' tribes.
The normal occupancy of the lodge is a dozen or fewer rangers. They are led by Snezhana, who is the older sister of Gennadii Bobchinsky, who manages the nearby estate of Bobchinskoye and village of Sobolevo on behalf of his cousin Boris Bobchinsky, who mainly resides in Krinets. Aside from Snezhana, there are eight other rangers at the lodge - Lavr, Kirill, Feodor, Taras, Vitomir, Yeremei, Miroslava and Oksana. Three of these were encountered by the Yokels on route from Yolga to Bobchinskoye. They were traveling to meet the elder Bobchinsky in Krinets, and shared the news they were delivering - that more chudyand volots were seen in the area, that trade relations with the Kuz' had broken down, and that a giant cat had taken up residence not far from the lodge, and was refusing to let Noriki pass beyond its haunts. They had also informed them that Sergei Reznikov had ridden through, and briefly stayed at the lodge a month ago.
