Valdor Wastes

Flanking the Krathar Peaks on both the eastern and western sides are The Valdor Wastes. These expansive deserts are the result of the rain shadow effect created by the towering mountains, leading to vast areas of sand dunes, rock formations, and sparse oases. The transition from the mountain foothills to the desert plains is gradual, where the decrease in vegetation and moisture becomes increasingly noticeable. The deserts serve as natural barriers, challenging those who traverse them and shaping the cultures of the tribes that call these harsh lands home.
