Creation According to the Old Ones

The Old Ones seldom tell this story as they do not often speak of the past and do not like to influence mortal's beliefs.

The Story

The Creator was once mortal and lived in the Great Before. At that time the title was Keeper of All bestowed upon the most powerful Spectrum Mage which, she was. She and her husband the Keeper of Time experimented and discovered the process of Agelessness. They gave it freely to others, the Keepers, political and military leaders, great artists, heroes, but they learned how much harm people can do when they are given long enough life spans.

It got out of hand and grew dangerous enough that she was concerned not only to innocent mortals' safety, but also for the safety of the three children she had borne. So she built a ship, hiding it from the political leaders of the Great Before, for they deemed her a very valuable asset and would not let her go without the shedding of blood.

The Creator gathered people of all shapes and colors. Good people, who wanted a better life than what their world would allow. This included a large part of the Time Clan. They got on the ship and left the Great Before.

They traveled a great distance, several mortal generations passed, before they came to a place the Creator declared was good. There, She and her Council of Keepers organized Lumena, dividing the water from the land, causing the sun to shine, placing the moons, calling forth all types of plants and animal life. She gave her followers lands of inheritance according to their or their ancestors' stalwartness.

She settle and farmed in the area that is now the Heartford Forest. She gave the people guidance when needed, but largely stayed out of their concerns as she did not wish to rule over them.
