Nuxrid

Nuxrids are the opposite of Dolthians. Where Dolthians are seen as positive forces in Lumena, Nuxrids are destructive forces.

Portrayals of Nuxrids vary widely from culture to culture, but different regions tend to have similar stories. In the southeast, they are said to be the followers of Zairlos who rebelled against The Creator and now cross over from the Abyss to entice the children of men to rebellion against the Holy Mother. West of the Mana mountains maintains that Nuxrids are the spirits of people who were lost and couldn't pass through one of three gates of the afterlife. Now they wander the desert and swamps, luring travelers to their dooms. These are sometimes called whisps. In the northeast, Nuxrids are people from the Creator's homeland who followed her and now try to destroy her creations. To the northwest, Nuxrids are beings with dwell in Lumena's core and crawl out to reap destruction on the surface.
