The Order of Midian
The Order of Midian is the only official Laitist order. It was founded to seek out and destroy Cyanhemians but has evolved since its founding to seek out all forms of corruption. They are a shady nobleman's worst nightmare and have been known to hunt down and in some cases, kill those who abandon responsibility.
At their core Midians, or seekers as they're more commonly called, are monster hunters. A seeker has been present for every hunt for the Shadow of Heartford Forest. The usual techniques for hunting cyanhemians don't work on it as it does not attempt to blend in with natural beings, normal techniques for regular monsters don't work as it seems far more intelligent than the mindless beasts and normal techniques for criminals don't work as it does not appear to have the same needs and motivations as natural beings leaving the seekers at a loss for what to do about it.
Types
Hunters:The hunters are the more traditional warrior seekers and make up the bulk of the seekers. Many travel outside of Ruben, seeking cyanhemians and other monsters since the general bishops seem to keep be enough to ward off the monsters in Ruben. Given that they operate outside of Rubenite jurisdiction, they employ more exact techniques and paradoxically have more tolerance for magical traditions largely due to practical reasons. Cyanhemians are an evil they will not ignore though. Not that any of them have seen more than one or two of them in the last few centuries. Generally, they act as bounty hunters outside of Ruben and as enforces inside Ruben.
Inquitors:The inquitors are concerned about poltical corruption and will have a group of inituate and low level hunters, as well as the corruporation of the Church to enforce their will.
Binders:The binders work with physical corruption and work to cure disease and disability.
