The Bastion of Men
The City States of the Kings' Alliance governs the region called Civador, with great metropolises and feudal farming villages dotting the land. The majority of Civadorians are humans, with some dwarven merchants from Meador and visiting artisan halflings from Paxador residing in the human dominated lands. Civador is a region of spanning gold grassland plains and small rolling hills, clean-crisp flowing rivers, Redwood and Maple forests. The land is home to diverse woodland wildlife such as foxes, bison, deer, bear, and much more generous game.A Now United People
Earliest records of human history in Civador tell of the growing xenophobic city-states uniquely evolving individually. These city-states would carefully and slowly expand over the years to send out colonies to establish hamlets and small villages in order to form a Feudal system to support their home city, primarily in farming for the city-states had little room for crops within their walls and grouping the farms on the near outside made them an easy target for enemy states. For centuries these city-states avoided each other and met in small conflicts over resources, until one man united them centuries into their existences. Aldwyn Dawnlord, legendary adventurer and king of Ealdgesegen at the time, created cooperation between the cities and became one of the founders of the Kings' Alliance - even becoming the first Oath King whose duty was to ensure balance of power and mutual peace among the states. Besides ensuring a brighter future for Civador, Aldwyn helped create the alliance to form a united front against the encroaching hordes of demons emerging from the collapsed Realm Gate that had appeared in Nobia. In the same year as the Alliance's formation, it would declare war on the forces of Hell and join the Nobian Legion in what would be called The Year of Purgetory.Fauna & Flora
Civador is covered in wandering herds of bison in the plains and forest animals in the trees. Though you will find little magic creatures in the land, for any that use to live there have long migrated to other, less settled lands or burrowed deep underground in fear of the mortals- specifically the rapidly expanding humans. The largest common predators of the land are bear that roam in the West, and wolves that make their dens in the East.
Natural Resources
Civador is full of herbs, lumber, and fresh water fish that they sell to the surrounding lands that lack such common resources. However, Civador lacks magical resources, so they often buy arcane ingredients from the Elves of Nobia. One of Civadors most popular trade is steel, which the people of Ealdgesegen first created and hold the secrets to produce, used to create weapons, armor, and to reinforce military structures and machines.
