Seigashi
This once lush and savage region of the world was heavily scarred during the The World's Breach.
Where the Kobayashi Maru is today were forests and mountains, but the first fight between Kumiho and Tamamo obliterated the landscape, leaving behind a huge crater which filled up with ocean water.
The Katokai Bay to the west was created in a similar way but not as destructive, the strenght of the twins being at their minimum after fighting each other for so long.
After eons, nature reclaimed its place. Now mostly fertile plains, it's still encased between huge forests that have since regrown and tall and dangerous mountain ranges. Wild life, friendly or not, is present at every corners.
Geography
The Seigashi province is around 75 000 square miles.
You can find three mountain ranges in Seigashi.
The Sumika Range encase the inner sea Kobayashi Maru in the east while the Gensui Chain can be found in the west and descends south towards the Yinxai province.
The Rakuza Peaks stretch across two thirds of the Northern border with the last third being occupied by the Mukeshi Swamps, making it a natural border from the northern region of the continent.
Their is three main forested areas as well.
You can find the Kuromatsu woods south of the Rakuza Peaks, growing along the mountains, which provides the capital with all the wood and meat from hunting it needs.
The Maossu Jungle is located east of the Sumika Range and the Morumi Forest, by far the largest woodland in all the Empire, can be found west of the Kobayashi Maru and go far in the south in Yinxai.
The mainland is mostly plains and hills, with heavy farming activities. In the center of Seigashi, you can find the Sanebashi Lake. It splits in multiple branches, which run across the land and allow navigation and water supplies for farms.
The Kobayashi Maru, an inner sea created after a cataclysm, is also known as the Smuggling Sea, as the Sumika range and the Devil’s Claw to the south provide endless caves to hide goods.
Natural Resources
Kuromatsu Woods provide the capital city Katokai with all the woods the inhabitants need, as well as hunting game. Their is also a huge fishing business in the capital, being built in the shore of the ocean. Having the terrain mostly plains now after the Breach, it's also a great place to farm all the grains and livestock needed to survive.
Deposits of precious ores have been discovered and other settlements to exploit them built. The richer one being Kumiwa in the Rakuza Peaks, which provide the main production of platinum and other lesser ores to the province. Two other mines, respectively gold and silver, were also built in the other mountain ranges, Kinko in the Gensui Chains and Ginko in the Sumika Range.
The Kobayashi Maru also provide a huge export in fish off all kind. The major fishing village is called Isari, and is built at the feet of the Sumika Range, at sea level.
