Tropani

The mining city of Tropani, known for its sky high smelter chiminies and the best mettalurgists in the Empire.

Located at the south east tip of Thebia, Tropani metallurgist back in ancient times realised the amazing power of blast furnaces that use the high winds coming from the Glacial Sea as the south cold front hits the warm winds of the Aegean Ocean. It was because of this reason that initially their iron and nowdays steel is known to be of the highest quality with almost no impurities. This is what makes Tropani the industrial capital of the The Holy Theban Empire and invaluable to the Femean lords.

The biggest building in Tropani is the Olde Smelter an ancient iron smelter plant that in recent years and due to new techologies has been converted into the city's Mayor hall and culural district. It is said that climbing on the top of the 80 meters tall massive chimney allows you to see as far as the first icebergs to the south and all the way to the Flying fleets surrounding Eastport.

One of the biggest issues the city has to deal with is the soot that covers and dyes everything a grey colour. If it was not for the high winds the city would have been completely covered by it. During times of low winds the people of the city tend to stay indoors to be protected by the quite toxic and cough-inducing dust. It is because of this reason that in late years the city is starting to move futher away from the industrial zone and that a massive cable cars system making use of Adium-powered machinery is being built to carry the workers from and to the smelters and steelworks.
