The Runi

The Runi are descended from the original clan of Belle-runi. While their distant cousins, The Bellevillian, stayed in the north, the Runi migrated south over the Hashar. The Runi adapted their traditions and culture to suit the slightly warmer climate. Of course there were benefits to the forests of the south. Food and other resources were easier to come by, which allowed for an earlier conversion to permanent settlement and feudalism. But this fast transition, relative to the Bellevillian, called for strong leadership and the Runi settled under an emperor.
