Nanotypes (Na-no-tie-puh)

Nanotypes are artificial humans created by a company called Neuronet, who worked under Omicron Incorporated. They were originally created to be used as weapons and substitute humans in war but instead ended up being used as workers.
The most noticeable thing about a nanotype is their grey skin. Phase 1 and Phase 2 Nanotypes have hair colours based on what their specialty was.

Project Nanotide (Phase 1)

Project Nanotide was originally the development of a type of nanobug which could enhance the abilities a Human wouldn't normally have.
However in the first phase of experiments it was found that the bugs weren't compatible with all humans and the ones the nano bug reject usually led to a death of disintegration.
The humans who had volunteered to take part didn't fully realise what they were signing up for and only a small handful of them survived.

Phase 2

When Neuronet found that it wasn't possible to make the nanobots compatible to everyone they decided to construct what they called Nanotypes from scratch.
The Nanotypes were specialised in a number of groups which was shown by their hair colour. This was implemented after being given orders from Omicron Incorporated as they wanted to build an army.

Phase 3

The fall of Omicron Incorporated led to the halt of the manufacture of Nanotypes being used as weaponry. Instead they scrapped the specializations in the nanotypes and just began to produce them as workers. To save time and money Neuronet collected DNA from the civilians and used that as the base code.
The civilians didn't know that this was the actual use for their DNA and were told it was just for security.
It was unlikely that a human would meet their Nanotype counterpart unless they decided to roam the underground, however from rumours and previous fights between nanotype and human, not many humans dare to go down there.

N-Types	Information
Blue	Blue Nanotypes are specialised in healing. They are able to heal fairly serious wounds of other Nanotypes and small wounds on humans.
White	White Nanotypes specialise in both healing and attack. However they can only heal lesser wounds on Nanotypes and are weaker than Red Nanotypes.
Red	Red Nanotypes specialise in attack. They are extremely strong and can overpower a human with ease.
Orange	Orange Nanotypes specialise in attack and intelligence, however they aren't as clever or strong as the green and Red Nanotypes.
Green	Green Nanotypes specialise in intelligence. They are extremely intelligent and can do very complex tasks. Because of some issue with the specialisation process, they are unable to sleep.
Black	Black Nanotypes specialise in Intelligence and Stealth. They are very intelligent and can sneak around pretty much undetected, however aren't as skilled as their Purple and Yellow counterparts.
Yellow	Yellow Nanotypes specialise in Stealth. They are extremely fast and can moved around pretty much undetected
Purple	Purple Nanotypes specialise in Stealth and Attack. They are very strong and can sneak around pretty much undetected, however aren't as skilled as their Red and Yellow counterparts.

Phase 4

After Osira took over the research facility in Artica, she turned her sights on producing more Nanotypes and technologies to destroy humanity.

Hybrids

Since Nanotypes are able to reproduce, they can reproduce with humans. There is a chance that the nanobugs can be passed on to the child of a nanotype which will cause the child to also have grey skin. It is always a 50% chance, no matter how far the generations go.
