Ashara of House Dayne marries Lord Renly Baratheon and becomes Lady of Storm's End, bringing small joy to a despondent Queen Elia Martell.

The one occasion Queen Elia Martell would appear in public for was the marriage of Ashara Dayne to Renly Baratheon, the very match she had arranged before her hardships had begun. In 295 AC the two were joined as one in Storm’s End, and the Summer Queen had made the journey through the end of her season to attend. Ashara was now a maid of six-and-twenty with her husband barely of age; but the dutiful Dayne had waited and shed her maiden blood for the Baratheon in a wedding and bedding most joyous. It was said Elia seemed luminous on the day and evening of, even assisting in disrobing the energetic stag for the coupling. Sadly, that would be the last time she was seen in public, as she retreated back into obscurity following that exhaustion.
