Dragons At Sea

King Aelyx is made aware of a pirate lord claiming to be a Blackfyre in the Stepstones, who is said to have three dragon eggs and is plotting to take Westeros.

Meanwhile, in the seas around Lys, a con artist played with fire. Rhaegar, the so-called ‘Blackfyre’, very well might have been born of the blood of Valyria, but to say he had any relation to House Blackfyre, much less House Targaryen, was laughable. It was more likely he was born of a Lyseni whore than a rebel King or Queen, and his expertise in naval combat hinted at the life of a pirate than a beggar prince. Still, men flocked to his side, if only for one reason.   Rhaegar had dragon eggs, and he intended to hatch them.   It is believed the three eggs-- White, Green and Black --in his possession were the very same once intended for Queen Daenerys. How the false Blackfyre got them is the guess of anyone, though it was no doubt through illegal and nefarious ways. Either way he intended to try and hatch them, and rule the world with the dragons they would bear.
