Military action

King Aelyx, sixty-and-two, personally leads the Royal Navy to defeat the Blackfyre pretender. His brother Vhaegar and his son, 11-year-old Crown Prince (King) Targaryen accompany him, alongside the lords Baratheon and Velaryon predominantly.

Once news reached King Aelyx of the eggs, he was all the more compelled to keep sailing against Blackfyre. Perhaps that red woman of the stories past had been right, and his line would be the one to see dragons reborn -- All he needed to do was kill the Blackfyre and it would all fall into place, he was sure of it.   The pretender’s fleet grew by the day as more and more men swore to Rhaegar’s service and skirmishes would begin near the Stepstones when the combined fleets of the Crownlands and Stormlands arrived. And King Aelyx had overestimated his own prowess at commanding on sea. Despite his extreme age, he was still a green man when it came to war, raised in a time of complete peace and ruling in one - fourty years of little to no grand-scale conflict. Battle was foreign to him, especially battle at sea, and it would prove costly. The Blackfyre flagship-- Unoriginally named Blackfyre --would lead a strike in the night against the Targaryen fleet, and Aelyx’s ship would be boarded by sellswords and taken by surprise...
