Garuda

Garuda are winged bipeds that roost in isolated aeries high above the clouds from where they can limitlessly glide on the wind.
Garuda rarely interact with other settlements except to hunt down serpentine creatures, especially Naga, who they hate with a burning passion for historical reasons they refuse to share with outsiders.
Some garuda families take to the wind in a nomadic lifestyle, wandering the world. Lucky mountaineers might encounter one of these garuda, who keep an eye out for travelers in peril.
Most garuda inhabit Latakral where the Shagon culture can be found.
