Shagon

The shagon ghoran inhabit the duchy of Kilninvia in rimward Latakral. Their culture emphasises the air and wind, always flowing and changing with the needs of the people. Shagons harness the air with massive windmills which power their civilisation. Blacksmiths turn windpower into beating hammers that forge tools, weapons and armour. Windmills draw water up to the peaks of mountains to sustain settlements in the arid heights. Windpower is even converted to heat to warm the great halls on frozen nights. In their mountaintop aerie's, wind is never in short supply, and should a calm day rise, these garuda can call the winds to aid them with their powerful wing beats.

Shagon are masters with bows and their lightning arrows rain from above on their enemies. Shagon train for years in childhood to master their cultural martial traditions and know to never close with an enemy when they could have the wind on their side in the skies.

When the seasonal winds change, shagons throw festivals to gain the favour of the winds for the coming season.
