Nurvatcha

Nurvatcha is the primary Anadi culture and dominates the north-east of Vrarrl.
Nurvatcha culture is shy and quiet with most members partaking in weaving their colourful silk into beautiful cloth, webs and homes. Their homes also serve as traps to hunt their primary food sources: large insects (e.g. meganeura) and dinosaurs. They also harvest mushrooms for sustenance and cultivate these in treetop gardens. Nurvatchan religion focuses on the Grandmother Spider who they believe elevated them from other giant spiders. They still respect these ancestors and treat them with great respect. They tame and rear giant spiders to serve as mounts and guardians. Each settlement may breed these spiders for different traits, both aesthetic and deadly.
Nurvatchan family are almost always polyamorous with 3 to 5 adults of any gender raising their children collectively. These web marriages typically also share professions and will hunt, farm, study etc together.
Broods of 6-12 hatchlings are the norm with several years between a web marriage reproducing.
