Marie Cinnabar is a Half-Elf  female practitioner of Left Handed Magic . She is originally from the Shadakine Empire, but following its dissolution she moved to Varetta . She has no official relationship with the University of Varetta .

She lives on the southern side of town and is known to mentor young wizards privately, or teach magical theory and lore to non-practitioners.
