Ulnarian
The peninsula of Durenor is separated from the rest of Magnamund by the Rymerrift, a sea channel created by a landslip during the Age ofChaos. The territory was claimed by the Ulnarian Clans after they first landed at Bolde bay during the Golden Age of the Shianti Empire . Today, Durenor is reputed to be the safest kingdom in all of Magnamund and yet the kingdom has constantly to maintain its vigil against raiders from the Wildlands and pirates from the Lakuri Isles. And within its borders, a minority of Ulnarian Clansmen seek areturn to the Clan Council, the old system of governance, overthrowingthe monarchy, and to launch a crusade to reclaim former territories lostcenturies ago in the Wildlands.
Ulnarians have a reputation for honour, etiquette and good heritage. They have a history of honouring their agreements and providing more than their fair share of any bargain. This makes them loyal allies and favoured trading partners. It shows in almost every aspect of their daily lives. Most merchants from other lands will take the extra time to visit a port inDurenor simply to enjoy the simple honesty of a transaction made withthe spirit of the bargain being lived up to as well as the wording.
