Durenor is a strong country, able to fend for itself against any threat and – with the aid of its ally Sommerlund – forms the backbone of the Freeland Alliance.

Durenese military focuses on light armored units, cavalry units and lightly armored infantry wtih delicate swords are the chosen weapons of Durenor. The ancient aret of fencing and swordplay, are restricted to the nobility by tradition.
Technological Level
Durenor is farther ahead technologically than many nations in Magnamund. In Hammerdal they have established train and cart lines throughout the city. The sewage systems of Durenese cities keep the streets clean, and see to the proper discposal of waste.
