The re-pacification of the Kota-Hutan Monastery

Expedition

The Vaduzahn mercenaries journey to Kota-Hutan Monastery to retake it from Roneld Guttens, the Rahib.

They use the teleport magics of a small roadside shrine to magically enter the lower levels of the Kota-Hutan Monastery. After a short time exploring, they find the Rahib. They quickly subdue him and his Siswa followers.

Upon questioning, he blames his villainy on a trio of hags lead by Trilena. He explains that he used an alchemical mixture taught to him by Trilena, to subjugate the Siswa and they should retun to their senses soon.

The group of mercenaries descend into the ruined tower of Kordan. There they use a magical obelisk to guide them in how to restore the two kidnapped elven maidens to their right mind. They activate magical controls to reverse the body swapping, resulting in the death of Trilena and her two sisters.

They escort the elven maidens back to Kota-Hutan, and within 2 days the Siswa wander into the village confused and apologetic for their roles in the crimes that occurred.

The party discovers a magical teleportation field in the shrine that Brandi uses to sneak into the Kota-Hutan Monastery. Once she determines how to move back and forth, the whole party uses the teleport magics to magically enter the lower levels of the Kota-Hutan Monastery. They face off against a number of Siswa, with Maul doing her best to ensure the young elves are taken prisoner. Estrella uses her magic to restore their minds. The rejuvenated Siswa lead them to the Rahib, Roneld Guttens.

They quickly subdue him and Umbra poisons the two black panthers that the Rahib secured from the original administrator of the monastery. Upon questioning, he blames his villainy on a trio of hags lead by Trilena. He explains that he used an alchemical mixture taught to him by Trilena, to subjugate the Siswa and they should retun to their senses soon. Finn Drake uses his telepathy to verify part of the story, while ensuring Roneld Guttens assumes his share of the responsibility.

The party locks Roneld Guttens away in the monastery cells. At the same time, they discover and release Rahasia's father from the cells.
