Collegium

The Collegium is the ruling council of Ard Almiead. Ruling from Larissa, The Collegium is composed of eleven members, or Colleagues. Seven of these Colleagues are representatives elevated from the most powerful colleges of The Spire of Truth. An eighth Colleague represents the watch and the armed forces of Ard Almiead. Three are elected directly from the public.
The seven colleges in the Spire of Truth elevating representatives to The Collegium are The Sorcerium (College of Magic), Divinity College (College of Religion, Culture and Art), The Arsenal (College of War & Military Engineering), The Greenhouse (College of Botany and Agriculture), The Visible Hand (College of Economics and Trade), The Halls of Justice (College of Morality and Legal Studies), and The Archimedium (College of Math and Geometry). Each college is subdivided into “departments,” and those departments specialize in some form of knowledge under the college’s purview (e.g., the Sorcerium has a department for each school of magic).
The current Colleagues are:

3. The Arsenal : Lord Artetorius, Human Fighter
4. The Greenhouse: ArchDruid Macleisch, Elven Druid
5. The Visible Hand: Marliegh de Quirinus, Human Merchant
6. The Halls of Justice: Sir Carolinus of the Bells, Human Paladin
7. The Archimedium: Torus, Human Wizard
8. The Watch/Military: Commandant Leslie Assard, Human Fighter
9. Elected by Populous: Thierry “Torcher” Rockhammer, Dwarven expatriate and professional wrestler.
10. Elected by Populous: Bob Smith, annoying neighborhood busybody and volunteer charity organizer. Human (secretly Robbie the Rapscallion, an underboss in The Weighted Scales, Larissa’s Thieves Guild)

11. Elected by Populous: Captain Alphonse Dilligence, merchant and shipping magnate.
