Great Glass Canyon

Although the dwarves, giants, and drakes that live in the Ymmari Southlands all have their legends, the true origin of how the Great Glass Canyon came to be remains a mystery.
Carved or melted into a mountainous glacier, the canyon stretches for hundreds of miles, winding through the desolated landscape of Tundrym.
Although much of the canyon's expanse can be viewed from the top, it extends even further below the earth, rich with caverns of ice, snow, and earth.
The Frost Dwarves of the Wintrym Hold have set up their citadel in part of the Canyon, and frequently patrol through its tunnels defending their home against the fell creatures of the ice.

The dwarves have encountered sources of a myriad of precious and rare metals below the Great Glass Canyon.
