Three Kingdoms

The "Three Kingdoms" is a general term for the three major human kingdoms that occupy the northern regions of East Ymmarion: Sanctyra, Arkhazia, and Oryus. Humans were the chief instigators during the Grand Uprising that brought the Ymmarion Empire down, almost two millennia ago. Originally united as one large kingdom under the banner of Sanctyra (albeit a very different country than present day Sanctyra). During the centuries that followed the Uprising, they became ideaologically divided and violently split into the three major kingdoms that stand today.
Although the kingdoms have experienced a time of protracted peace and trade between themselves, tensions have begun to rise again, especially between the nations of Santyra and Arkhazia.
