Enchantment

The small ring was quite unassuming, a simple metal band with a gemstone of humble size inlaid in its front. It was nevertheless eyecatching, as its red stone glinted in the light. Putting the ring on his finger revealed there was more to this small artifact, and a fire burned in his heart, amplifying the flames at his hands.

Enchantment is the process by which objects or beings are imbued with magic to provide various effects, either positive, negative, or neutral.

Forms of Enchantment

Enchantments come in many forms and applications. The most common are those applied to armor and weaponry for combat purposes, as well as those with purposes of basic utility. The latter may include enchantments which make objects self-cleaning, or heat to perfect temperature when prompted.
