Bleaksteppe

Beaksteppe is a broken land of dry crags, cliffs, slopes, and gullies at the head of the Ulgoine Valley.  During the Age of Heroism, it was home to the various tribes of the Chinew Peoples.  During the Age of Community, it was claimed by the Horde of the Risen Caste.

Bleaksteppe played an important role in the Fields of Ichor (973 AH).  The demon hordes had ravaged across the landscape while the armies of mortals amassed in the Ulgoine Valley.  The few tribes of the Chinew Peoples that joined in the war used their knowledge of the landscape to dig in at the eastern cliffs.  Bleaksteppe acted as the base of operations for the turning point of the war.
