Horde of the Risen Caste
The Horde of the Risen Caste is a mystery upon the Bleaksteppe within the Age of Community. The Horde is made up of tribes that man different outposts and fortified barracks throughout the Upper Ulgoine Valley . The people range in size from 4 ft up to 8ft tall and range from slight build through behemoth. They have coarse, calloused skin the varies widely in color from soft greys and ashed through pastel olives and maroons. The bulk of the people are horse riders like the Chinew Peoples before them despite the permanent settlements they have created.
It is known that they originated as the bulk of Chinew tribes that had abandoned the steppe before the Fields of Ichor (973 AH). They later returned to retake their ancestral lands during the Age of Isolation. What isn't known is how they progressed from the distinct lineages of monstrous folk in the Age of Heroism into their current collective pallet of a bloodline. They stand in stark contrast to the monstrous folk of Harfolk Sanctuary who have had the same time to mix bloodlines yet remain diverse. What is known is the Hordes disdain for the people of Harfolk for turning their back on the old ways. The Horde of the Risen Casten controls more land than the Chinew Peoples ever did and they guard their territory fiercely. The members of the horde identify them based on their camp of origins. While camp affiliation is strong, they simply serve to identify an individual's upbringing and probable skills. The lands and tasks expected of each camp vary from across the different terrains of the upper valley.
