Come On Home

The Following is a Hymn sung by the followers of Mother Saskia, the Saskian Family.
  Out there
They teach you to be kind
As long as it is kind of
Convenient
They teach you to compromise
As long as everyone is in
Agreement
They teach you to offer food to your guest
But forget about the rest
Outside your door
They teach you to help your neighbor
Some one else will return the favor
As long as it’s not the poor
    Come on home
Where the hail never beats and the sun never blinds
Come on home
Where the wind is kept out and the rain is denied
Where the meal bell is never late
And there is always food on every plate
Every neighbor is your sibling
And every favor begins rippling
Come on home
The only thing that moves faster than a fair weather friend
Is a storm chaser
“I’m so sorry, Is there anything I can do? I’m here”
but it doesn’t faze her
They sprout from the ground
At the first sound
Of your grief
They still let you know
You already know
They’re no relief
They priddle and prat
Ready to fight your spat
Until visibility cease
    Come on home
Where the hail never beats and the sun never blinds
Come on home
Where the wind is kept out and the rain is denied
Where the meal bell is never late
And there is always food on every plate
Every neighbor is your sibling
And every favor begins rippling
Come on home
