The servants of the Shade Crystal arrive in Bactran, Chupta delivers his parcel, and the party begins negotiations with a middle-man to the owner of the next Temperance Shard.  The party agree to a perform a heist, but before they can get there they end of mugging a wagon.  Even Ordained crime can get sidetracked with criminal activity.


Seeking information on where to obtain more Temperance Shards, Chuptah has brought the party back to his contact in Petal Creek, an outlying village of Bactran along the Nehir River. The conversation was sparse, jumping between telepathic and verbal communication. The neatly kept dwarf was not pleased in the oversteps Chuptah took in bringing strangers before him and then asking about the private information of the identity of a previous client. The man said he would try to arrange a meeting but secretly told Chupta that it may come at heavy cost of the money due to him from that immediate delivery.   Afterwards, our heroes made their way into Bactran proper and began to explore Bahçe Badal, the southern of the three districts atop the plateau. They sold jewelry, game, and materials within the Zorstril Bazaar before making your way to Gozni's Bed and Breakfast. The gentlemen of the house showed you around before giving you the space you needed to establish yourselves. With knowledge that Chupta's contact would be around in the morning to update you all on the situation and delivery Chupta his money, the party had a moment to find their footing before bed.   The next morning Chupta gave everyone a tour through Bahçe Badal and then stopped in on an ablino human bookbinder, The Broken Book, to purchase scribing supplies. Next, Chupta finally had the culmination of his meeting with his contact. His delivered parcel proved to be of the utmost quality and his payment was delivered. The payment, however, was far less than desired as the refined dwarf had used a great some of the money to bribe a blind-date meeting. Setting himself up on the Spor Solanu bathhouse and gymnasium, the party met one Orwin Oreson. The dwarf presented himself in the steamy relaxation chamber in an elegant bathrobe, a decadent buffet of sweets, fruits, and nuts to highlight the expensive oils and incense he surrounded himself with on the party's own coin.   Mr. Oreson acted as a liason between the party and his private employer who owns the Temperance Shard that they sough. The dwarven apollo assured the party that his employer would be happy to give it up if you were capable of gaining further antiquities for him, less of a trade and more of a barter. As long as his employer has a clear net gain, the specifics of artifacts did not matter as much as the amount. Before such an arrangement could be made though, Mr. Oreson wanted to be assured that they lot had the proper skills to work for the antiquarian. Not only skill but the ability to work within specified restraints. The task set before the party was to humble an outsider of Bactran and free the city's view of a blot on the cityscape.   A human by the name of Sicuro Altomari had grown influential quite quickly within Bactran. Establishing himself in the middle of the cliff line, he had built a casino in a culture that looks down upon wanton waste by selling it as karmic charity. Not only has he claimed a central section of the cliff-face overlooking the Nehir Valley but he kept an airship “moored” along the top ledges obstructing many other people's views. The antiquarian has tried to purchase the ship to dispose of it himself but Altomari would not sell it. Mr. Oreson asked the party to dispose of the airship to humble the man. He doesn't care if it is crashed, stolen, forced to be sold under blackmail. The only rule is that no one can die because of this. The party agreed to the terms.   With a week to plan, the party continued with the interests and errands. Chuptah introduced the party to both his mother and to a safe house. The smuggler wishes to move his mother into better accommodations with a private doctor as a caretaker. Despite his intention to remove the previous caretaker, his mother made sure Astrid prevented an permanent departure before the next caretaker could be acquired.   The safe house was more... interesting... as despite being within a similar layer of some subterranean slums, it had one extra layer of protection, being behind a the store front of The Spectacular Ferret. There in, Chupta got the name and rate of a potential pilot, Crush got some mushrooms he peer pressured Fozz into taking with him, and all around things were a bit grimy.   On the way back to Goznis, our companions got... distracted. In magically searching for the presence of a shard, Astrid found herself just late to a handoff between two carts. She stopped the dwarves of the card containing the presence but they weren't buying her act. When she tried to sell a connection to the previous cart, this made the two extremely suspicious. One thing led to another and soon enough magic was being thrown everywhere, a dude illusory-maced himself, and the party had mugged them. Towards the end, one of the merchants Invoked a Rite of Offense causing Chupta return to Astrid and nope-her out of there. Eventually gathered up once again at the Goznis', the party found within the trapped metal box a foot long rainbow stone. The box was sold to Shook but Fozz still kept the key.
